A gourmand built differently.
SHAHI TUKDA translates the richness of Indian culinary tradition into perfume Hainan Oud and vintage Sandalwood layered with Kashkan, Centifolia and Damascena roses, real Afghani Saffron Negrin Absolute, Cardamom CO₂, Pistachio, Tonka, Vanilla and Benzoin, deepened with Labdanum, Beeswax, Orris, Osmanthus, Hay, Ambrette and Ambergris.
The result is baked, warm, creamy and aromatic: saffron-soaked sweetness, toasted nuttiness, rose, warm milk-like facets and woods with oud quietly running beneath it.
And there is something deliberately imperfect about it. The real saffron leaves visible golden stains. We could not filter the character out of it but then it would no longer be SHAHI TUKDA. Earlier, I had decided to keep this as a private sale offered only to those curious enough to explore a different kind of gourmand and comfortable with saffron leaving its natural signature. Many were disappointed. My intentions were not wrong. Though, I have now decided to release just 12 bottles online.
The staining is not a flaw to us.
It is part of its beauty, its material and its story.
Not dessert. An experience.
Soulful. Warm. Aromatic.
