ONE — BLACK ROSE $220

The freshness of Hindi Damascena greets you in the opening, with fruity Bulgarian Damascena following closely behind. Citrusy Taif lends a crisp brightness to the blend, while the spicy Damascena of Hindi with a touch of clove adds a shimmering sparkle over a bed of satin saffron.

As it evolves, resins and oud enter the composition, creating a dry-down that becomes gently smoky and leathery. In the early stages these smoky, leathery nuances remain delicately in the background.

Black is an imaginary rose—a concept I’ve explored for years. Crafting a one-ingredient-centric blend with complex layers, while preserving its character and momentum, is a hurricane of a task. Anything excessive can disrupt the rose experience, yet its facets deepen naturally over time. Oxidation, too, is a natural process—one that refines the blend, transforming the juice into an ethereal experience.

I have given full justice to the Black Rose: a rose-dominated creation enriched with fruity, spicy, smoky, and leathery undertones—all supporting its essence without ever overshadowing it.

THREE  — VANILLA TABAC $125

 It’s a complex aroma shifting from raw greenness to deeper more developed sweet balsamic, faint rosy wine with spices. Raw cigar tobacco leaf starts grassy and sharp like fresh-cut hay, green twigs, mushroomy aged through curing and fermentation into a rich, earthy, woody, sweet, and spicy fragrance with notes of honey, tea, plums, dry raisins. Complete different take on previous released Tabac in Elixir.

AL SAQR release comes with a careful thought. It grew from constant & sincere requests over months from Rafa Scent duo Rashed and Faisal. Their love & deep roots in the Emirates shaped the story behind this blend.

As you explore their memories you begin to understand how complex it is to absorb the rich fragrance culture of a land known for its seven-star heritage. This culture is interwoven with traditions from the GCC, the South Asian community and North Africa. Bringing all of that into one bottle means honouring a history. It all started by spices, trade movement and the ancient Silk Route. This route carried not just goods but also cultures, rituals and identities. What you hold now represents that journey.

It is one scent that captures many worlds, many people and a shared love for fragrance.

AL SAQR - A true tribute to the United Arab Emirates. This tribute revolves around a single spice that is deeply intertwined with the country’s flavours and fragarances. As you experience this blend, you’ll notice a refreshing burst of cardamom, a faint hint of pepper and a touch of moist leather wrapped in warm robe of saffron silk. This is all softened by rose damask drenched in honey. You’ll taste juicy figs and tangy red raspberries balanced by creamy almond and nutty hazelnut creating a beautiful and intriguing contrast. Furthermore, it deepens into maple bourbon vanilla, balsamic Hindi oud, moist hay, and clean woods. It finally settles into a dry down that is musky, powdery and infused with the enchanting incense of Hindi oud.

It will remind you that people of this land recognised these ingredients long before the world called them “Oriental fragrances.” This tribute celebrates that legacy.

This beautiful composition combines traditional elements with modern nuance and ranges from varied florals to violet and iris butter. Floral nectar, full-bodied and sweet combines richly with mellowed tart berries accented by honey sweet notes, lace of iris and violet leaf creating a dimensional fragrance. The presence of Hindi Oud gives it a ghee-like richness with underlying hay adding to the layers of this complex composition. There are hints of smokiness and musk in this giving an impression of attar aged blend in old wine barrel.  It has a balsamic, faint boozy scent, faint mossy, floral and woody giving impression that edges on a chypre . It is perfectly concentrated allowing an enchanting journey through scents evoking the beauty of the old world and distinctly reminiscent of French-oriental perfume. Classic Vanilla & Rose. The deal is real & superlative oil in blend. Do not sleep on this one. Hindi Oud is clean and Rose is sparkling with mix of Sandalwood, Vanilla and Saffron. LIMITED AND RARE BATCH. WHITE ROSE ELIXIR FEW BOTTLES WILL BE LIVE TONIGHT 9pm DXB - ROSE OTTO, Leather canter DAMASCENA, ALBA, pinch of SAFFRON AND dab of SANDALWOOD. It is WHITE ROSE WATERFALL GUSHING DOWN in a bottle. Nothing else. A spray and you can see the skin smothered in oil. A pristine WHITE ROSE experience with faint QURBA SULTANI HINDI DAMASK. This looks linear but very complex as Otto freezes like waxy cloud formation. Keep filtering and it looses lots of oil in making. Cost goes off the roof. Elixir was madness and ego trip to accomplish one. 40% oil concentration and sleepless nights over weeks. Only reason to come this far I was commissioned by fellow passionate fragrance lovers who have been my pillar of support over years. My younger brother from another mother. You know who you are guys. They just traveled long hours driven  and a flight to meet in person and have this project fired up. Half of the batch is taken and other half will be online tonight. Thank you to all of you. This one is really therapeutic. The aroma of Lotus and Kaffir Lime welcome you with a serene and energising ambience. A quick, delicate burst of pink rose water from the millions of dews of waterfall. The Laos Crassna oud is very significant. The character is wearing faint tobacco, saffron suede and a light shade of hay with sour & blueberries. Rose water and a beautiful harvest of oud oil distilled in a pot. The plan is to showcase Laos oud oil in its purest form in elixir medium of perfumery. In this one-of-a-kind composition, the Laos Oud takes centre stage. The secret is curing as oil was fresh; it will eventually become a very uncommon and ethereal experience.

Hathkora is a bitter, green, and citrusy explosion. Layered with heavy moist hay and the traditional Hindi oud classic, the meadow muffins. It reminds me of my old release from 2018 Mr. Barn :)

Despite my deliberate choice of that name, Mr. Barn's strength and character  were well respected at the time. It sold out right away that night, I had underestimated.

This taught me never doubt a real oil with traditional complex character. The tribes in the community that have similar olfaction taste just grew over years. Beyond this, barn and hay will destroy the sensory experience of genuinely enjoying farm house in nature. A swipe in drawing room will transport you to barnyard with bells and mooing heard in the distance. :)

This time, all the notes are hitting the right spot and is more rounded than before. Save this classic example will be a juice for many in future to score . An iconic Hindi Oud in a most traditional way.

This fragrance is serious blend of deep, earthy oud and rich patchouli. Creating a warm grounding foundation. As it settles, there's a smooth, silky sweetness from saffron like golden threads weaving through the scent adding a hint of brightness. A soft fresh green burst of cardamom dances in the air giving it a lively almost sparkling feel. Above all of this, delicate floral notes float like a cloud, offering a gentle, airy contrast to the intensity of the base.

As it dries down it deepens into something almost magical like an earthy, musky that lingers in the air inviting you in for more. It’s a fragrance that evolves slowly, giving you a rich experience from start to finish and feels timeless and elegant.

It’s a totally chill tobacco vibe. Imagine a cozy blanket of damp tobacco enveloping you mixed with some cherry cola feels. You get this nice, moist tobacco with a hint of citrus and nutty sweetness on your skin. It smells like an old-school humidor. Cola, creamy almond, hazelnut and smooth moist tobacco. It’s classy, not like some cheap cigarette smell. There’s this balsamic touch, earthiness, and oud resin at the end that really tie it all together. Overall, this tobacco experience is rich, refined and a total must-have for any gentlemen. It’s just a satisfying ride from start to finish.

Imagine this fragrance as a magical potion created after decade of blending many perfumes, attars and mukhallats. Mostly, with heavy, intense & polarising ingredients. With time my hands achieved nimble touch to create refined facets & give magical expression like delicately chiseling away a rough stone only to make a sparkling diamond. Now I understand my late father's prudent expression "It comes with time" this flow is a natural course cannot be forced. 

Hyrax Carnal is one of them. This blend combines expression of floral sensuality and animalic beauty. Achieve balance of floral and animalic that dance together in perfect harmony. Evokes curiosity,  sensual and daring animalic perfume. Not just on the face raw animalic. It opens with a burst of faint cool citrus giving away to rich leather smell from labdanum and castoreum. A warm cozy hug of musky animalic sweetness is due to follow. It is like dark bourbon vanilla mixed with castoreum adds depth and mystery to the blend. There’s a phenomenal encens note and muskiness with faint benzoin towards the dry down which adds to a kick and is highlight of this blend. 

As you breathe it in, it wraps around you like soft musky on your skin with hints of cacao and rich oleoresin fudge that brings you smile. Think of fine lace from jasmine blossoms that teases your senses adding a touch of elegance and evoking carnal senses.

This composition has proven to be challenging in numerous ways. It aims to seamlessly blend traditional elements with distinct leather nuances that appeal to the collective olfactory preferences of the community ultimately achieving the esteemed status associated with leather. The blend should be enjoyable and distinct despite the personal memories and experiences everyone has with leather—a formidable task indeed. Comprising diverse ingredients some with strong and polarising characteristics, the blend should amplify the primal leather experience. It opens with a hint of pine and smokiness from gum benzoin, accompanied by a deep balsamic and sour undertone that subtly enhances the primal leather backdrop. Each animalic note contributes a unique dimension, adding flair to the primal leather essence. The result is an addictive leather fragrance that avoids being overly bold or reminiscent of barn, fecal, or bovine notes. It is an animalic note that clouds up with a bold, raw appeal in air. Upon skin, it opens to a mix of green, citrusy Taif rose blended with orange sweetness and the soft, powdery note of lavender, underlined by the indolic backtone of frangipani, while the jasmine blossom amplifies a rich musk, layered with bittersweet sandalwood and spices. Added to this is Hojari, which gives a magic touch to the green citrus, myrrh, and benzoin-earthly calm texture. Notably, the real pineapple sweetness unexpectedly but interestingly sits atop with the musk. This is the only fragrance in this category that offers such a broad palette of ingredients. The thing I like most about it is the dry down-the revelation of this sultry, magnetic, stunningly powdery layer of tonkin musk with solid woody accent which has formed over oud. For the musk lover who wishes the sophistication of its powdery aspect than Tropical Musk is the scent.
