NAFAS — “Breath.”
NAFAS begins like a deep breath taken somewhere quiet cool, piney, resinous and remarkably fresh yet carrying an immediate sense of warmth underneath. There is something almost sacred about the opening the feeling of fine incense in the air not dense smoke but the aromatic trace that remains after it has passed.
Slowly, that freshness becomes warmer and more golden. A gentle floral softness appears within the resinous body, taking away any sharpness without turning the fragrance sweet. The scent feels polished and tranquil with a beautiful tension between cool incense, dry warmth and the faintest suggestion of flowers.
On skin, NAFAS gradually becomes creamier and deeper. The initial brightness retreats and an aged woody character begins to emerge smooth, dark and quietly mysterious. Nothing feels separate or deliberately placed; everything seems to melt into one continuous accord of incense, old woods and soft oriental warmth.
The deeper it settles the more intimate it becomes. There is a subtle earthiness beneath the smoothness, a faint smokiness and the impression of precious wood that has been kept for years. It has depth without heaviness and richness without becoming loud.
Hours later, NAFAS remains close to the skin as a warm, meditative veil woody, resinous, slightly floral and beautifully serene. Occasionally the freshness from the opening seems to return for a moment, almost as though the fragrance itself is breathing.
