This attar is a co-distilled example of natural symbiosis within two diverse ingredients. Alchemy of seasonal China Box (Jasmine) and Oud (Crassna).

The Jasmine is subtly present while the Oud takes center stage. It opens with delightful green tea jasmine buds and buttery, bitter oud resin, accented by a faint sweet balsamic note. This creation is an ongoing journey towards a beautiful accord creation combining distinct ingredients. It features a sweet-sour blueberry and incense oud aroma, with a hint of white florals and a touch of animalic warmth in the dry down.

Musk Aswad exceeds my expectations. It is sophisticated art of raw appeal with bold materials and layering to complete a composition. Combining a blend of traditional and bold elements.

The blend is a balance between the animalic notes and the core experience of Black Musk. A understanding of how to play with intensity without losing harmony. The subtlety with which the animalic pod skin as an element enhances rather than overpowers the composition speaks volumes for passion & craftsmanship.

The presence of oud as a strong foundation allowing the musk to shine is a testament to the cohesive layering techniques in fragrance creation. The inclusion of goat hair leather oud, mushroom,  rose, jasmine, oleo, spikenard along with a rich Hindi and Crassna Oud, further contributes to a full-bodied and intriguing scent profile. Crafting an attar using a blend of sandalwood, cedar wood, Hindi oud, Crassna oud, jasmine, tuberose, marigold, rose, henna, cardamom, clove, frankincense, oak moss, violet leaf, birch tar, opoponax, labdanum, saffron, amber, civet, and musk has been a long and tedious journey dabbling since 2021. 

The creative process can be exhausting. Achieving the delicate balance of green and subtle floral notes with the faint smokiness, lace of leather, the woody and sweet barn nuances of oud is indeed a considerable challenge. The task of harmonising and accomplishing calming dry down with such powerful elements & to create an exceptional oil in chypre genre, while maintaining super affordability was a daunting task. 

Yet, the Hindi Chypre was finally realised. It is invigorating, calming, and exceptionally beautiful, offering lush green nuances complemented by gentle woodiness, grounded resins and shy musk. This attar stands as a rare jewel within its genre & possessing a remarkable uniqueness. Some fruits are of gold reaped only after a long wait and patience . Enjoy!
