This is a well-aged 2018 Crassna oud from Cambodi Thai, derived from 30-40 years old trees that was distilled traditionally a wood fire at the Cambodia-Thailand border using copper stills. It has a deep DARK, rich RESINOUS red hue and LACKS any fruity notes until the finish. The oud presents a gentle smokiness that evokes my memories of Tibetan monastery, Japanese temple, and the calming scent of Palo Santo & smokehouse pits. The distinct notes of red cherries laced with moist tobacco, aged balsamic twang and soft suede leather reminiscent of an old saddle. Smokehouse Leather is a oud which illustrates how oud can evolve beautifully with time offering an ethereal experience. It easily one of our top offerings of 2025. Very rare I come across oil of this caliber which has complexity and prudent character of Cambodi though being Thai.  This one will be a favourite for many over time.

Since 2019, this Silani oud  has been aging that truly stands out. It’s expertly distilled and boasts a stunning wild Silani core from Sri Pad Adam Peaks. With over 50 years age of harvest you can really appreciate its rich aroma and unique character. It’s almost reminiscent of traditional Hindi Oud without any barn or leather notes just pure goodness. The spiciness and tang are distinct leading to a lovely dry down that features a hint of sour green mango peel showcasing its Silani essence at its best. To address recurring inquiries about cultivation and wild sources I have previously clarified that in the past decade I have encountered neither wild harvest distilled oils nor pure wild honey. HOMEGROWN is my preferred harvest where there is no use of iron nails, injections, human axed wounds/drill or forced aging. The QADEEM or SULTANI one can expect a no human intervention wild-like oud oil like to the Meitei 2006 Oud Oil I once offered.

It is faint hay, faint leather, faint Sultani smokey two batch infused pure oud oil to keep price at bottom. The fruity notes of Himalayan berries evokes a nostalgic sense of sweetness and cherished memories. This particular tone of oud oil is of classic Hindi to my olfaction strikes a perfect balance with its leathery, fennel clean, woody oudy, sour berries & earthy traditional scent of oud.
